Bridgewater-Raritan High School held its annual Elective Fair in the Small Gym on January 21 and January 22 during Unit Lunch, giving students the opportunity to explore the wide range of elective courses available for the upcoming school year.
The fair featured student- and teacher-run stands representing electives across multiple departments. Courses such as Latin, American Film Studies and AP United States Government and Politics were among those showcased, allowing students to learn more about course content, expectations and unique opportunities directly from those involved.
Students attending the fair shared their perspectives on different electives. Junior Dimah Alhamami talked about her experience.

“It was helpful to hear more about different classes and see how they connect to real-world topics. The fair made it easier to understand what electives are actually like before choosing classes,” she said.
The Elective Fair served as a valuable resource for students preparing for course selection, especially with scheduling beginning in February. By speaking directly with peers and teachers, attendees were able to ask specific questions and gain a clearer understanding of which electives best matched their interests.
All students were encouraged to attend the fair and take advantage of the opportunity to make informed course selections for the 2026–27 school year.
