The Prowler, the student-run newspaper of Bridgewater-Raritan High School, has selected its new leadership and editing team for the 2026-2027 school year.
Three new Editors-in-Chief were selected, alongside a number of new section editors.
Senior Sri Kakarla, senior Ruhaan Keote, and junior Suphachikaa Chinnasamy were all named as Editors-in-Chief for the 2026-2027 school year. They were each heavily involved in the paper as community, sports, and arts editors, respectively.
They will replace the current three Editors-in-Chief — seniors Paritosh Bhole, Ananya Gupta, and Agastya Shahane — who excelled in their crucial roles this school year.
Paritosh has served as an Editor-in-Chief for the past two school years.
When asked about her new position, Sri spoke about what she looks forward to accomplishing.
“I’m very grateful to be stepping into this role after starting as a staff writer. I’m excited to build on what we have and make the paper feel more relevant and engaging for everyone at school,” she said.
Ruhaan addressed his vision as Editor-in-Chief.

“I’m really excited to fill the role of Editor-in-Chief. Hopefully, I’m able to truly grow the quality and scope of our reach as a student publication next year,” he revealed.
Suphachikaa talked about her enthusiasm.
“I am extremely honored to have the position of Editor-in-Chief at The Prowler for the 2026-2027 school year! I have so many ideas for next year, and I can’t wait to see the club grow even more,” she said.
Section editors, officers of the paper who individually oversee particular sections of the paper, were also selected.
The following students have been named section editors for The Prowler for next year:
- Community Editors
- Anshuman Roy
- Achyut Nuli

“We will say goodbye to three fantastic Editors-in-Chief in Partiosh Bhole, Ananya Gupta, and Agstya Shahane,” said Bruce Moran, who serves as the Co-Advisor of the high school’s newspaper with Victor Smoke. “But, I know that Mr. Smoke and I are thrilled and confident with our new leadership, both our Editors-in-Chief and our section editors.”
