The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Indoor Percussion performed at their family and friends show on February 6.
Their show, called “The Sound Gallery”, includes songs like “Spring” by Antonio Vivaldi, Whitney Houston’s hit “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and an original piece composed for the ensemble: “Hot To Go” by Chappell Roan.
After numerous hours of hard work and dedication, the Bridgewater-Raritan Indoor Percussion held a show for all of their friends and family to see so they could get a feel of what they would be performing at future competitions. Many people came to see this performance to support their children or their friends throughout the show.

People arrived at the event through around 8:15 p.m., with the show starting at 8:30 p.m. Students felt mixed emotions before performing the show; some were excited or nervous. However, the performers put their feelings aside to put on the best show they could that night.
Section leader Nandini Kuppachi, a junior, shared her thoughts about the team’s performance.
“I’m incredibly proud of all the months of hard work we’ve put in and so grateful for the opportunity to share it with the community. The experience of performing in front of such a large audience was gratifying and helped us prepare mentally for our first competition. As the season progresses, we aspire to continue our work ethic and continually improve our show, both in terms of performance quality and musical proficiency,” she said.
