On Friday, October 3, the class of 2027 was crowned the winners of the Bridgewater-Raritan High School 2025 Pep Rally.
The junior class claimed victory with 29,000 points in a tightly contested competition, narrowly surpassing the seniors, who scored 27,000 points.
The students of Bridgewater-Raritan High School displayed incredible spirit while engaging in an intense competition of multiple games. Students volunteered to compete in a variety of events, including musical chairs, tug of war, an inflatable costume race, and many more competitions.
The event was brought to life by the talented marching band, which played live music throughout the competition. Every student’s dedication, talent, and high energy contributed significantly to the competitive atmosphere. Their amazing performance heightened the intensity of the games while inspiring school spirit, keeping both the participants and the audience engaged. The band’s music added excitement to the event, making it a memorable experience for everyone present.
The competition kicked off with a thrilling game of musical chairs, in which the freshman class emerged victorious.
Junior Maanvita Konka said, “Despite the hot temperature, the freshman displayed an exciting game for the audience and contributed significantly to creating an intense environment.” Their victory encouraged the other classes to compete with greater enthusiasm and motivated the audience to cheer even louder.
A standout member of the audience was the Panther mascot, who energized the crowd and encouraged students, teachers, and spectators to cheer even louder. The student council team was also an important presence in the audience, actively supporting the participants, helping to maintain the energy of the crowd, and encouraging everyone to get involved in the excitement of the event.
Competing with great school spirit, the class of 2027 won the overall game. The pep rally was an exciting and memorable event that displayed powerful school spirit, energizing music of the marching band, and enthusiastic support from the students, teachers, and Panther mascot.
