Mrs. Annie Higgins has worked in BRRSD for 18 years as a Special Education teacher. She has been the BRHS Newspaper Business Advisor for the past several years. When the BRHS newspaper was printed on paper, she worked with her students to receive, count and deliver the newspapers to homerooms or English classes and elsewhere throughout the district. This was a superb way to build vocational skills. Now that The Prowler is digital, Mrs. Higgins is excited to develop a new skill set and hopefully discover ways that her students can build other vocational skills by supporting The Prowler. Mrs. Higgins is also the class advisor for the BRHS class of 2026 and our Special Olympics coach. Most importantly, she is a mother to three young children, BRRSD students Daniel-9, Emilia- 7, and Jack-5. She and her family live in the Van Holten section of town.
